Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao had dinner with Korean star Ji Chang-wook in Korea.

On her Instagram page, Jinkee shared a clip of their dinner with the actor.

Also present at the dinner was Manny’s mother Dionisia Pacquiao and other family members and friends.

It was in 2018 when Jinkee first met Chang-wook in Korea. Jinkee is a big fan of the Korean actor.

“Hi Ji Chang-wook. 👩I am so blessed and happy to have finally met you,” Jinkee posted on her Instagram page back in 2018.

It was Manny who set up a dinner meeting with the actor in 2018.

“Sinurprise ako [ni Manny] sa birthday niya nung nag-Korea kami. Meron na pala siyang kausap na ime-meet ko si Ji Chang-wook,” she said in an interview with Vicki Belo back in May 2021.

Chang-wook is a Korean actor and singer. He started his career in musical theater. He portrayed his first lead role in a drama series in Smile Again in 2010.

Other television series of Chang-wook include Melting Me Softly, Backstreet Rookie, Lovestruck in the City, and The Sound of Magic, among others.

Manny and Jinkee are currently in Korea ahead of the boxer’s exhibition match with Korean mixed martial artist DK Yoo on December 11 at the Korea International Exhibition Center in Goyang.

The said exhibition match aims to raise funds for the war-torn Ukraine.

“I am very thankful for this opportunity and excited for the exhibition. The fight is real. We will try to knock each other out. That’s why we need to work hard,” Manny said during a press conference in Seoul in October as reported by The Korea Times.

Manny shared that he was able to watch the matches of DK and pointed out areas that the martial artist could improve on.

“Boxing is more difficult than martial arts. He needs to learn more and train hard for boxing, because it requires stamina, footwork, and head movements,” Manny stated.

When asked if he will be returning to professional boxing in the future, Manny replied, “It depends. We will see the result on December 11.”
