Kristel Fulgar to guest on a South Korean show
Former Goin’ Bulilit star Kristel Fulgar is ready to showcase her hosting prowess to South Korean viewers as she was invited to be a guest in an undisclosed TV program. In her YouTube vlog, the actress shared a glimpse of her new life in South Korea.
The vlog showed that Kristel was filming in the Korean media company Korea New Network.
“I just accepted this project just for fun and because it was offered to me by my friend Joseph,” she revealed.
The young actress shared that she has still much to learn about the culture of South Korea before she can confidently star and get cast in different shows. In her vlog, Kristel was praised by the people she interacted with because of how fluent she was in Korean.
“It was a memorable and fun experience but I don’t think I am fully ready to enter the entertainment industry here in Korea. I guess I would be needing more time to learn their language and gain some more courage to explore my career in a different country,” she humbly wrote in the caption.
Just last month, Kristel signed with South Korean entertainment agency Five Stones Entertainment. She then revealed that she wouldn’t be doing any projects soon as she is focused on studying the language further.
“Huwag muna magi-expect na maga-artista ako dito, ganyan. Kasi nga hindi pa ako ganun ka-confident mag-Korean. Later na, let’s see. Kung ano ‘yung matutunan ko sa school baka magkakaroon ako ng confidence,” she added.
Kristel is currently in South Korea and has been documenting her stay through her YouTube vlogs. She moved to the country back in September and will continue to stay there for her personal and professional growth as an artist.
