Ice Seguerra’s pet dog Choppy victim of a hit-and-run driver
Animal lover and singer Ice Seguerra lamented the unexpected loss of his pet dog Choppy last December 14.
Currently abroad after a performance in Taiwan followed by a trip to Canada with wife Liza Dino, Ice Seguerra shared a very sad update on his Instagram account last December 14 after receiving news from home. The 39-year-old artist posted a photo during happier times with their family dog, Choppy.
Earlier this year, Ice also mourned the loss of another beloved pet named Porky who passed away at 13 years old after suffering from an enlarged heart and lung blockage.
In his post last December 14, Ice shared how devastating the loss was. They had just celebrated Choppy’s first birthday last October 4. “My sweet boy, Choppy, was killed today. He was a victim of a hit and run. I still can’t believe this is happening. Durog na durog ako. Choppy ko..akala ko pag uwi magkasama na tayo ulit. Sobrang sakit, Chop.”

During the time of the incident, Ice and his wife Liza were attending the press conference for the Star Magic Workshops showcase in Canada along with director Rahyan Carlos.
Last February, Megastar Sharon Cuneta gifted Ice with a new dog named Belly. Aside from his two dogs , Ice also has a pet cat named Panda. Ice also rescued a dog off the streets whom he named Sisi G. He also had a pet pig named Doggy who passed away in 2020 at 12 years old.
