Meryll, who turned 40 last December 9, took to Instagram to share photos taken by Nice Print Photography from their joint birthday celebration.
“Celebrated my 40th and Gido’s 2nd with an intimate dinner with my dearest family and friends. It was beautiful,” she captioned the post.
She went on to thank the organizers and their guests for making her birthday extra special.
“To my friends and family who came and made my 40th more special than it already is, thank you. I love you guys so much,” she said.
Gido is Meryll’s son with actor Joem Bascon. He turned two years old on December 17.
Meryll and Joem, who briefly dated in 2010, rekindled their romance after reuniting in the movie Culion in 2019.
They introduced Gideon, their first child together, on New Year’s Day in 2021.
In a vlog last June, Joem said he and Meryll will get married “in time” when asked about his future plans for their relationship.
“Kapag okay na ang lahat,” he said. “At isa rin ‘yun, eh, kapag pinlano mo, hindi naman din nangyayari. Minsan nangyayari na lang.”
Meryll is currently part of the hit ABS-CBN series, The Iron Heart.
