Gary Valenciano pens a heartwarming message for his daughter Kiana Valenciano, who turned a year older on Wednesday, December 21.

Gary Valenciano penned a heartwarming message for his daughter Kiana Valenciano, who turned a year older on Wednesday, December 21.

Sharing their photos together on Instagram, the music veteran expressed his love and appreciation for Kiana as she turned 30.

“I don’t think anyone can truly fathom the depth of appreciation I have for having been given this princess. You know? She really is a sweetheart,” Gary began.

“There are things she still does that she used to do when she was kid. And yet she’s grown up with so much maturity that many times I have to stop myself from talking because of how well she expresses and explains herself to me.

“Then… her artistry. I do pray more of the world can be exposed to her kind of music, her kind of rhythm, her kind of expression, her kind of heart,” he added.

He went on to share his birthday wish for his only daughter.

“What a gift she has been to the family. I love you Kiana. I do hope this day reminds you of the hope you’ve found in Jesus and how committed He is to loving you no matter what,” Gary wrote.

“Happy happy happy bday Kwinks. I pray God gives us many many many more years of music together, of beach trips, of tours, of Christmases together, of movie nights, of our shark tales, of daddy daughter dates, of dreaming together, of laughing together, and praying together. I love you so much!!!! Happy birthday!!!!”

Kiana is Gary’s daughter with his wife Angeli Pangilinan. They also have two sons — Paolo and Gab.

Kiana, 30, is the singer behind the hit tracks “Does She Know,” “5:30,” “Misfits,” “See Me,” and “Keep It Secret.”
