Karina Bautista shares her journey to purchase her dream lot for her family.
Karina Bautista opened up about her journey towards purchasing her dream real estate property recently.
At 20 years old, Karina was able to buy a lot in Tagaytay for her family. In an interview with Star Magic Inside News, the Kapamilya star relayed the many sacrifices she made in order to buy the said lot.
“Every time na sinasabi ko sa friends ko na ‘uy hindi ako pwede ah, uy ito lang pwede kong maibigay,’ naiintidihan naman nila ‘yun kasi alam nila na may pinag-iipunan ako at may binabayaran ako monthly. Tapos nung nabili ko ‘yun while looking back, naisip ko talaga lahat ng journey ko sa PBB, lahat tiniis ko tapos sabi ko, ‘Okay ito na pala ‘yun,’” she said.
Karina added, “God was only preparing me for the best kasi siyempre I got a lot of criticisms rin after my Pinoy Big Brother appearance tapos I had Sandugo, it took ilang years din and I really had down moments na umiiyak ako na halos parang sabi ko ayaw ko ng umarate, ayaw ko nang mag-artista, parang give up na ako so sabi ko naman nothing is unpaid with the Lord. Parang lahat ‘yan may karampantang bayad talaga whether good or bad and I think I have done enough good and my best tapos nakita ko ‘yung [lot] so sabi ko nakaka-proud naman talaga.”
Karina relayed that she was even able to pay more than half of the downpayment for the Tagaytay lot.
“Actually nung binili ko ‘tong lupa na ‘to sabi ko oh my gosh parang ang laki. Parang nag-downpayment ako na parang almost more than half pero may konti pa akong babayaran pero sabi ko ‘yung monthly nito parang nakakaubos hininga, oh my gosh parang paano ko kikitain ‘to?” she admitted.
Despite her apprehensions, Karina made the situation her motivation to even work harder, saying, “So sabi ko I wasn’t so sure but I will make it as inspiration na I will wake up everyday na alam kong may pupuntahan ‘yung trabaho ko so mas lalo kong dapat galingan at sipagan kaya ‘yun po mas naging motivated ako na sige gigising tayo today, gagalingan natin today para may next work pa tayo.”
The actress shared that there was never a month that she missed her monthly amortization for the lot. “I’ve always paid in advance. Parang three months advanced so nakakapagpahinga ako tapos talagang iniipon ko pa siya until nabayaran ko siya,” she said.
Karina confessed that there were times before when she was getting exhausted in order to earn to fulfill her monthly payments.
“Actually may point ako na parang napagod na ako like gusto ko naman mag-bakasyon kasi nakikita ko ‘yung friends ko nagbo-Boracay, nag-El Nido, gumagala tapos sabi ko parang ako gusto ko rin gusto ko rin magpahinga, parang nakakapagod rin kasi everyday magwo-work ka, iniisip mo kung saan ka makakakita ng pera,” she shared.
The Kapamilya star continued, “Pero sabi ko talaga parang ito talaga ang dream ko ever since. Kung may pangarap ka kailangan talaga pinaghihirapan and it takes some sacrifices talaga. Kung may gusto ka ma-achieve hindi mo naman siya ma-achieve na bigay lang sa’yo parang the harder you work for it, the more fulfilling it is. The more worth it, it becomes,” she stated.
