LOOK: Celebrities spotted at the Eraserheads reunion concert

Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Ria Atayde, and Alora Sasam are just some of the stars spotted at the recent Eraserheads reunion concert held last December 22.

After holding a successful one-night only concert held at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City last December 22, the Eraserheads Huling El Bimbo reunion concert not only brought a record 50,000 attendees, but had its fair share of celebrities spotted in the crowd enjoying the night along with other longtime Eheads fans.

In her post the day after the event, Kathryn Bernardo shared how much she enjoyed the night along with boyfriend Daniel Padilla and friends Ria Atayde and Alora Sasam.

Also spotted were other celebrities like Maxene Magalona, Khalil Ramos, Gabbi Garcia, Bayani Agbayani, Arlene Muhlach, Jake Ejercito, Marlo Mortel, Matt Evans, Yves Flores, Gillian Vicencio, and Sofia Andres who enjoyed the concert while singing along to the songs with her dad. She wrote, “I remember singing this song with my dad growing up & I remember hearing this song for the first time while he was driving sa traffic ng C5.

Karylle attended the concert with husband Yael Yuzon who is also a musician. Also spotted was her It’s Showtime co-host Vice Ganda who had her husband Ion Perez in tow. In her Instagram post, Karylle wrote, “Gusto mo bang………. sumama?! Wouldn’t have missed this for the world. Salamat, #eraserheads for your music! Wait lang tumutunog na beeper ko. Grateful to have @yaelyraz my trivia master explaining so many things to me on our way to the venue and during the concert. Grabe ang mga letra- ahhhhh! Genius, masterful and fun in many places. Sign of the times! #hulingelbimbo202”

Beauty Gonzalez attended the concert with her husband Norman Crisologo and also brought along Aiko Melendez’s two children Marthena and Andre to watch the show. Aiko thanked her fellow actress in her post, writing, “Thank you sis @beauty_gonzalez and Norman for taking my kids to the #eraserheadconcert You made @andreyllana @jickainmarthena so Happy Tonight by gifting them with Eheads tickets… Love you sis ko 🙂 We are so grateful ”

Gary Valenciano was a guest performer during the show and dedicated his posts as part of the whole experience with his son Paolo who also directed the concert. “No words…just fulfillment, gratitude, and thanksgiving in my heart even now… This was one event we all waited for…and it’s one event we all will never forget. How could one not get emotional after celebrating life and music this way with this band?

In Gary’s post, Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia expressed his gratitude to the performer known as Mr. Pure Energy. Ely wrote, “I can’t thank you enough for doing this, man. Sharing the stage with you is hands down one of the highlights of my career. You remain an inspiration to me as an artist and as a human being.”

The Huling El Bimbo concert was co-produced by Myriad Entertainment Corp. which is known as the company of Alden Richards. In his social media account, Alden shared a video of himself going to the dressing rooms to meet the band members after the show. He wrote, “Hanggang sa dulo ng mundo solid ang ating pagsasama! Maraming Salamat sa mga naki Sing- Along at di nagpatalo sa mahabang pila!”

Eraserheads was formed in 1989 and has been making hit after hit since then. In 2002, the band announced their disbandment following the departure of Ely. They are considered to be one of the most-loved OPM rock bands ever in the country.
