“This album came together in isolation but it came alive on the road. Releasing The Loneliest Time has been fun, healing, scary, silly – somehow all at once!” the singer posted back in October upon the release of the album.

She added that with this new record, she became more open in her songwriting.

“I’ve never been quite so open in my writing before but thanks to your kindness and support over the years, I have the confidence to write freely and explore new worlds of music. I don’t take that for granted,” she stated.

Carly continued, “I have so many people to thank but I’ll save that for another day. Today, I’d like to start by thanking all of you for listening – so THANK YOU!”

Carly is behind the hit songs “Call Me Maybe”, “Good Time,” “Runaway With Me”, and “Your Type”, among others.

The singer has won Juno Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and an Allan Straight Award. She also earned nominations from the Grammys, MTV Video Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards, and Polaris Music Prize.
