Dawn Zulueta, husband celebrate silver wedding anniversary

Actress Dawn Zulueta and her husband Anton Lagdameo Jr. celebrated their 25th or silver wedding anniversary on Tuesday, December 27.

On Instagram, Dawn shared her message for her husband as she posted sweet snaps of them at the beach.

“Holy crap. We’re still married? You’re still my husband? Happy Silver Wedding Anniversary, @aflagdameo,” wrote the actress.

“After 25 years with you, I can confidently say, loving you is the best thing that ever happened in my life. I love you for ever, Anton!” she added.

Dawn and her husband — a former Davao del Norte Representative and a scion of a wealthy Mindanao family — first met when they were teenagers. However, it was only during Anton’s birthday celebration in January 1996 when they had a chance to really get to know each other.

Sometime after, the two became a couple, and eventually got married at the University Club in The Big Apple in December 1997.

Previously on Magandang Buhay, Dawn said she’s lucky to have Anton as her husband.

“Masuwerte ako dahil may husband ako. Nakakapag-balance kami,” she said. “Hindi ko magagawa ang lahat ng nagagawa ko ngayon if it were not for his support. Pero he’s willing kasi to make adjustments na tutulungan niya ako. Ang suwerte nga.”

They have two children — Jacobo Antonio, 17, and Ayisha Madlen, 13.
